How much does pet bloodwork cost?
A combined CBC + chemistry panel — the standard "bloodwork" line on a vet bill — is published at $100–$200 (Spot, citing PetMD, 2026). Pawlicy's guide publishes blood work at $80–$200, and CareCredit published a panel average of $130 in a 2023 guide.

Two honest gaps
No senior-panel price is published. Spot's blood-test guide recommends twice-yearly testing for senior dogs (7+) but prices no senior panel — so this site does not print a "senior blood panel" figure; budget from the standard panel range plus any add-ons your vet orders. No cat-specific range was found either — the published panel figures are stated for dogs or generally, and we do not restate a dog range as a cat range. How often bloodwork is recommended — annually for healthy adults, twice yearly for seniors (Spot) — is a frequency fact from the source, not advice about your pet.
Pre-anesthetic bloodwork is a line item on several published surgical lists — $80 at one low-cost clinic, $90+ at another.
